Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the conditions that apply when you use the Basharat Atelier website or order a made-to-order leather jacket from us.

Last updated: [ADD: publication date]

Before publishing: replace every [ADD: ...] field and remove this notice. These terms must match your checkout, product pages, shipping policy and returns policy.

1. About Basharat Atelier

Basharat Atelier is a leather brand creating made-to-order leather jackets. We review each order, the selected options and the required measurements before production begins.

Address: Sialkot, Pakistan
Email: orders@basharatatelier.com

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Basharat Atelier. “You” means the website visitor or customer.

2. Using our website

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. You must provide accurate information and use the website only for lawful purposes. You must be legally able to enter into a purchase contract in your country, or place the order with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where permitted.

We may update, suspend or withdraw website features where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from technical errors.

3. Products and leather

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may appear differently because of lighting and screen settings. Natural leather may show variations in grain, tone and surface character; these variations are part of a natural material and are not automatically defects.

The product page identifies the design, leather, colour, sizing options and included features. Accessories, styling items or backgrounds shown in photographs are not included unless expressly stated.

We may make minor changes that do not materially reduce quality or alter the main design, including changes required for safety, legal compliance or material availability. We will contact you before making a material substitution.

4. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we received it; it does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. A binding order is formed when [ADD: state the acceptance point—for example, when payment and measurements are approved and a production confirmation is sent].

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if the product is unavailable, payment is not authorized, delivery is not possible, information is incomplete, or an obvious pricing or description error occurred. If payment has already been collected, we will refund the affected amount.

Review your name, address, measurements, product choices and customization details before submitting the order.

5. Measurements and fit

You are responsible for submitting complete and accurate measurements using our Size & Fit guide. Measurements should be taken using the method requested on the product page.

We may contact you if information appears incomplete or inconsistent. A measurement review can identify obvious inconsistencies but cannot guarantee fit when measurements are inaccurate, taken differently from our guide, or when fit preferences were not communicated.

Do not submit another person’s measurements or photographs unless you have their permission.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in [ADD: store currency/currencies]. [ADD: state whether prices include applicable taxes and whether delivery is included or calculated separately.]

Payment is accepted through [ADD: active payment provider and methods]. Payment must be completed according to the instructions shown at checkout. We may perform reasonable verification before accepting or producing an order.

Import duties, taxes and handling fees are addressed in section 9 and our Shipping & Delivery policy.

7. Made-to-order production

Our jackets are generally produced after an order is accepted. Made-to-order means production begins from an existing Basharat Atelier design using the size, measurements and approved options connected with your order. It does not mean a fully bespoke pattern or in-person fitting unless expressly agreed in writing.

The estimated production time is [ADD: typical production range] after payment and all required details are confirmed. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. Production may pause while we wait for missing information or approval.

8. Changes and cancellations

Contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel an order. We may be able to help before materials are allocated or production begins, but changes cannot be guaranteed afterward.

Products made to your measurements or clearly personalized may not qualify for change-of-mind cancellation or return where applicable law permits that exception. This does not remove mandatory rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

9. Shipping and delivery

We deliver to [ADD: countries or regions currently served] using [ADD: principal couriers]. Delivery estimates begin after dispatch and are separate from production time.

You are responsible for providing a complete delivery address and for monitoring tracking updates. Risk of loss passes to you when [ADD: legally reviewed point at which risk transfers]. Ownership passes when full payment is received and [ADD: any additional condition].

Duties and taxes: [ADD: state clearly whether shipments are DDP with duties paid, or DAP with the recipient responsible.] Customs processing and carrier delays may be outside our control. See the complete Shipping & Delivery policy.

10. Returns, exchanges and refunds

Return eligibility depends on the product, customization and reason for return. Read our Returns & Exchanges policy before ordering; it forms part of these terms.

Do not return a product without contacting us and receiving instructions. Returned goods must meet the stated condition and packaging requirements unless the return concerns a fault that prevents this.

Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Damaged, faulty or incorrect products

Inspect your order promptly after delivery. If it arrives damaged, faulty or materially different from what was ordered, contact us within [ADD: reporting period] with the order number, description and clear photographs. Keep the item and packaging while we review the issue.

We may request additional information or arrange inspection. Where the claim is valid, the available remedy may include repair, replacement, refund or another remedy required by applicable law. Natural leather variation is not automatically a fault, but it will not be used to dismiss genuine material or construction problems.

12. Product care and alterations

Follow the garment care label and our Leather Care guide. Damage caused by unsuitable cleaning, heat, incorrect storage, normal wear, accidents, misuse or unauthorized alterations may not be treated as a manufacturing fault.

Leather retains needle holes and can be permanently altered by cutting or stitching. Use a professional experienced with leather garments.

13. Intellectual property

The Basharat Atelier name, logo, website design, text, photographs, product designs and other original material are owned by us or used with permission. You may view the website for personal shopping purposes but may not copy, reproduce, sell or commercially exploit its content without written permission.

14. Our responsibility

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to mandatory law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, transport disruption, customs action, natural disaster, conflict, government restrictions, power or network failure, or supplier disruption. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and communicate material delays.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains the technologies used by the website.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [ADD: jurisdiction selected after legal advice]. The courts of [ADD: jurisdiction] will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law allows you to bring a claim in another competent court or gives you additional protections.

If a problem arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in this section removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future orders when our products, services or legal obligations change. The version applying to your purchase is normally the version available when your order is accepted, unless a change is required by law.
