How to Order a Made-to-Order Leather Jacket

The ordering process
From your selection to final delivery
Each Basharat Atelier jacket begins with an existing design and is produced only after your order details and payment are confirmed. The website does not currently process payment transactions at checkout.
Select available options
Choose the size, leather, colour or other options shown on the product page. Only displayed options or changes confirmed by us in writing are included.
Provide sizing details
Enter the measurements requested for that product. Follow our Size & Measurement Guide and do not rely only on your usual label size.
Submit your order request
Check your contact details, delivery address, product selections and measurements, then submit your request. Submission does not yet confirm the order or place it into production.
Order and measurement review
We review the information supplied and contact you if a missing or apparently inconsistent detail requires clarification.
Receive payment instructions
After the review, we send the approved payment method, payable amount and instructions directly to you. Current methods: [ADD: active manual payment methods].
Payment confirmation and production
Complete payment using the instructions provided and send the requested transaction reference or receipt. Once payment and all required details are verified, we confirm the order and begin production. The typical production estimate is [ADD: production timeframe], excluding courier transit.
Dispatch and delivery
After final checks, the jacket is packed and dispatched. Where tracking is available, we send the carrier and tracking reference to your order email.
Before you measure
Prepare for an accurate result
Use a flexible measuring tape and ask another person to help where possible. Measure over a light layer and keep the tape level without pulling it tight.
- Follow the measurement points shown in our guide.
- Enter body measurements and jacket measurements only in their correct fields.
- Use the requested unit—centimetres or inches—consistently.
- Measure twice before submitting.
- Tell us what you normally plan to wear beneath the jacket.
- Contact us before ordering if two measurements appear inconsistent.

Submitting a request is not final order acceptance. Your order is confirmed only after the required details and payment have been verified. Production time and courier delivery time are separate.

Changes, customization and fit
Contact us before ordering if you want a feature that is not shown on the product page. A request is included only after we confirm its feasibility, price and effect on production or return eligibility in writing.
Contact us immediately if you notice an error after ordering. Changes may be possible before leather is allocated or cutting begins, but cannot be guaranteed afterward.
Our review helps identify obvious measurement inconsistencies; it cannot guarantee fit if the measurements were taken incorrectly or the desired fit was not communicated. Read the Returns & Exchanges policy before placing a personalized order.
Ordering questions
Frequently asked questions
Is made-to-order the same as bespoke?
No. Our made-to-order process begins with an existing Basharat Atelier design and the sizing options described for it. A fully bespoke pattern or in-person fitting is included only when expressly agreed.
Can I order if I am between sizes?
Yes, but review the required measurements rather than choosing only by your usual size label. Contact us before purchase if you are uncertain.
How do I pay for my order?
Payment is not processed through website checkout. After we review your order request and measurements, we send the approved payment method, amount and payment instructions directly to you. Production begins only after payment is verified and your order is confirmed. We will never ask for your password, PIN or one-time security code.
Can I change my measurements after submitting the request?
Contact us immediately. Changes are usually easier before payment and order confirmation, but they cannot be guaranteed after payment is verified, materials are allocated or production has started.
How long will my order take?

Can a personalized jacket be returned?
Eligibility depends on the customization and reason for return. Personalized goods may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law, while mandatory rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods remain. Read the complete return policy before ordering.
